A tremendous landmark in Kings County P.E.I., is Knox’s Dam. I played in the stream with my friends many times as a child. Knox’s Dam is one of my husband’s favourite locations so we visit it on several occasions during the year. On one such day, I followed the fall leaves to the downstream view which seemed so still compared to the rushing water in the fish ladders. This small painting was meant to capture a sense of the larger, less commonly viewed, but beautiful, downstream view.
