I am drawn to the beauty of carefully positioned stacks of wood at the edges of fields and wood lots. This is a painting of a log pile in a field in New Perth, P.E.I. The only sound I heard was that of my steps in the early winter snow. I attempted to catch the feature of this quietness in the painting.
